What is Hemoglobal?
What is Hemoglobal?
Hemoglobal is a registered charity dedicated to providing medical care, equipment, and education for children around the world affected by inherited and chronic anemias. Hemoglobal consists of a coalition of international doctors and health professionals striving towards our common goal to "Make Care Fair."
Hemoglobal's clinical teams work together hand-in-hand to:

Create comprehensive care facilities and educate its staff about adequate clinical care for children with inherited blood diseases.

Donate medical supplies to pediatric wards.

Improve quality of care in the treatment of the hemoglobinopathies worldwide.

Educate patients and their care-providers about the hemoglobinopathies.

Develop international initiatives to study and treat thalassemia and sickle cell anemia in developing countries, the most common single gene disorders world-wide.
Hemoglobal Connect is a Canada-wide program which oversees a network of Hemoglobal's student chapters. It is a community of like-minded student leaders and global health advocates who work together to support the charity through fundraising and other outreach initiatives. Chapter members will also have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of experts who will provide crucial support and mentorship.

All Hemoglobal Connect chapters will have access to our specialized materials to ensure success in their campaigning endeavours. The Hemoglobal Connect toolkits will provide step-by-step instructions and guidelines on how to successfully manage a chapter. This will include a sponsorship package, outreach guidelines, email templates, and more! You will also receive individualized support and strategizing tips for your team. We have taken every step to ensure that the process will be as streamlined as possible.
